Recruitment Rules and Guidelines
The recruitment officer for WoW Legion (Victuri te Salutant) is Sombreros (Imsdal). All questions and concerns regarding applications should be directed to him.
Contacting the recruitment officer can be done in game or by forum pm’s directed to Imsdal (http://www.legionhq.org/private.php?do=newpm&u=1100). Or you can contact one of the other command members Geingard, Trelfy, Soly, Empress, Grommet/Vigo or Georg who will gladly help you.
Legion is now a casual guild indulging in pvp and pve content focussing on the community aspect of playing together. Kara and zul aman are both going to be done when we are able. This means that we raid when we have the people but no set in stone schedule. If you are looking for a hardcore raid experience we can not offer it to you.
Before we even get the application:
1) You need to be interested in a family / friend atmosphere. Willing to help each other out and generally love playing with other people with the possibility of moving on with our communtity into other games in the future.
2) Raid times are variable. The more flexible you are the better but we aren’t recruiting on time availability any longer.
3) Its not required but would be nice if you are attuned for Karazhan and heroic 5 man instances.
4) Ideally applicants should be 18+. Command will however use our discretion about this in some cases. A mature attitude is essential.
Submitting their application:
1) The applicant needs to submit their application to the WoW Enlistment Forums in a thread with their in game name as the title.
2) The application needs to follow the same format as before with:
a. Information about themselves, time zones and age,
b. Background in World of War and gaming in general.
c. Why you want to join legion.
d. Main character name and class.
e. Alt character name(s) and class(es).
During the deciding time:
You have submitted your application, now what?
During this time, the Recruitment officers will contact the applicant and have a chat with you. You will be contacted in game to set up a time to interview you.
If the recruitment officer feels that in this initial contact you do not have what it takes to be a legionnaire, (and this could be for a variety of reasons) they will inform you that your application has been denied at the end of that conversation. If you are eligible to continue, the officer will then post your application on the internal boards for vouching and comments.
We are looking for people that will fit in with our guild atmosphere and possibly move on to other games with us.
The initiate stage
If you are accepted after the interview, the recruitment officers will invite you to the guild to start your initiate stage of recruitment. If recruited, there is a one month trial period in which we will be monitoring your status within the guild.
We cannot guarantee raid spots but we will try to get everyone included.
Loot is first offered to legionnaires, if no full legionnaire needs or requests the item then it will be offered to initiates.
And finally…
After the 1 month period is over, the last recommendation will be made and decided on by command.
1) Initiate is ready to be promoted to legionnaire status
2) Initiate is found not to be legion material and is removed from the guild.
