Seeing that myself seems to be the first Legion News member awake (Does that mean I am the one with the least social life also?), I hereby want to wish you a happy New Year on behalf of the Legion Community.
To all our members and friends past and present, 2012 will bring new excitement, new games and ofc also new drama, so be sure to stay with us and join us in one of our gaming divisions.

Christmas is coming and Quamie's getting fat,
Rampage needs more pancakes before he eats his new mouse mat.
Biggdogg's being Scroogey, and saying he won't play,
But that will never happen if Grendel gets his way.
That's right folks, it's that time of year and Bioware's first Massive Multiplayer Online Game, Star Wars: The Old Republic, is imminent.
The interest is literally... massive. This is reflected not only in our division for Star Wars: The Old Republic (US East / PvP / Empire) that is growing daily, but also in the Collector Edition's of Star Wars: The Old Republic being sold out worldwide.
'How can Christmas get any better with all that happening?', we hear you cry!
Well, we present to you the rare opportunity to acquire an English Collector's Edition of Star Wars: The Old Republic for your loved ones, or for yourself, as a Christmas gift.

Friends. Family. Legionnaires!
Much has happened since PA, SWG, AO, WoW, WAR, EVE and others. We've gotten older, wiser, perhaps married and divorced a couple of times, plenty of kids and all that which follows. Some haven't played games for years, while others have found a new guild and other friends to play with. But no matter what, we will always have a spot waiting here for you.
- STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC goes live 20/12/2011 - and Legion is going to hit it hard. We hope that YOU will be there to join us. Now you got a good excuse to bail on the family xmas dinners and boring coffee parties; log on and play with your friends!
Be sure to check out the SW:ToR section on the forum. There you got all the info you need to start playing! Unsure what kind of class will fit you best? Ask on the forum, or chat with our members on IRC (yes, it's old school, but we like it!).
Did we mention that you get companions in SW:ToR? They will help you while you're doing quests (heal/tank/dmg), trade skills, pretty much anything. Some might also try to be your new boy/girlfriend!
We could go on for hours to describe how good the game really is in this mail. But that would be just a wall of text, and no one would read it. To sum up the beta test, I think that this line from IRC says it all:

Hi,
Due to the large influx of spambots recently, new members now have to be approved by a moderator/admin to allow them to post.
Temporary measure untill I have time to implement some other features.

For anyone still using their old legion email address, I'm now breaking it to move to the new system.
(yes, old data is saved)

Email is working, however I have to do a manual import of the old emails, and install a webbased client, ptr records and some other small stuff.
As such, I have not recreated the user accounts yet, apart from a few tests.
Please let me know here, or by PM, or on irc if you are using your @legionhq.org email (or want a new one), and I'll fix it right away with the importing before sorting the rest.
(Seeing most emails seem to be dormant)
