What to do

Ok so i need stuff i can do to entertain myself at work.. (so it needs to be worksafe sites! :p)

anyone got any good timewasters? These forums tend to be a bit dead the first few hours of the working day so i need something else to do than reading old posts and the newspapers

Bowlsey 04-06-2008 09:50

You could do something totally crazy and actually do some work!? ;)

BlueArmy 04-06-2008 09:59

well i am actually doing all my work, but since my work is based on input from customers and deliveries i have a shitload of downtime when i dont get such input.. and its in that timeperiod i need something else to entertain myself :p

Bowlsey 04-06-2008 10:14

For me personally being in IT (system engineer) these stories are a great time killer:

bastard operator from hell

Besides that i browse these forums, digg.com, techcrunch.com, zdnet.com, dilbert.com erm what else :)

Bowlsey 04-06-2008 13:11

Have to admit, I browse this forum, The Register, The independent website, i use newsnow.co.uk to find out feeds about Pompey football club. I also run a few websites for different clubs & organisations so I'm usually working on them... Which of course is rare because i'm doing lots of actual work ;)

Reading a book just seems too much of not caring :p
ye i always check united.no manutd.com footballtransfers.co.uk etc..
but since i always check those at home and at work there's usually not much new.. atleast i got to kill a few hours by doing some real works trying to sort out some new latvians starting to work for us !

Listen to audio books, it just looks as you're listening to music whilst working.
