Hello, and Old Galaxy Banners
 

Howdy People.

I used to play PA way back in the day, r3-r5 (a.k.a whoop) with TheUnkown and a couple of other guys, although I will admit I was in Fury, not Legion. Hello to all of you, thanks for the good times.

Anyway, fast foward a few years - I was reminiscing and googling, and I was wondering if anyone saved a collection of the the old Legion galaxy banners, as I remember that some of them were really, really cool.

Some people backupped the banners yes, i know i have quite a few and Allfather has quite a few aswel. You could check the gallery to see if there are any in there :)

You guys should create a flickr or piacasaweb set of them so that they may be saved for posterity.

hehe, I think the best banners are where we did the protest in order to bring Chineses account back from the banned.

He had inherited a planet from a guy in my gal who quit. The guy was a moron, and called his planet Dildo. So, way way out in the game, the PA admins decided to do a filter and deletete all offensive accounts. Chinese of Dildo was promptly removed...

We then contacted Spinner and explained how Chinese had been inspired by his long residence in the town Dildo in Canada (took a while to find that one).

We then made protest banners, including Legion banners with scenes from the city life in Dildo, as well as some more sporadic stuff like the Dildo flower and such.

Needless to say, Chinese was promptly reinstated, and the great people of Dildo rejoice to this very day.

Long live the glorious struggle!

Wow no-one has posted the Joy of Villainy banners... Must be someone here... I have some fond memories of being one of them :D

All old refound PA banners can be mailed to banners@p0wer.nl to be submitted to my archive. Best way to keep them safe for prosperity is to share them among as much people as possible :)

well all my links no longer work, i guess my ISP i used about 10years ago finally shut off my account hah!
