Tell me about AoC

Hello everyone!
It's been a long time since last I visited this forum. Nice to see that some of the old guys are still hanging around :)

So..

I'm considerering starting to play AoC, but as usual I will need to make it absolutely sure that it is worth the money. (yes, Im greedy. But mostly I need to know beacouse I could get addicted to a bad game and I will much more be addicted to a good one - that makes sense, right?)

I havent played the beta so what I know is basicly what I could find out at the homepage and some clips I found on youtube. The grapichs looks very nice and all but Im still in doubt about the gameplay. What concerns me is that there is no talk about group-questing. Working in team is what make MMORPGs fun, at least in my opinion.

Can someone give me their point of view on this?

And..

This is maybe a wierd question, but Im also wondering if I should invest in some Funcom stocks. At the time being its priced at about 50NOK. Analytics imply that with 1 million subscribers the game stock will rise to about 80NOK. That corresponds to a 60% rise!

sooooo.... Do you guys think the game is good for 1 million subscribers?

i think its a bit late to buy stocks, that's only me though :o

Im still waiting for someone to tell me about what they think of AoC...

way to late to buy stocks. should have bought at the start of the year.
as with any mmo, there are bugs, stuff that annoy you, etc.
But what makes any mmo is the people you play with.
