I've become fond of playing as Tau, they fit my playing style or something cause I keep winning with them *shrug*. At any rate GW has done a great job of making a classic game, creating awesome back story, and making kick ass models (to bad you have to paint the fkers though :P)! :D

Any army can be considered great, so long as the player controlling them knows how to play off on their strengths. The Tyranids play exactly like the Zerg from SC, if you try and rush the opposing army there going to get wiped out in a few seconds. If you keep them behind cover, and let the opposing army come to you however, you can win rather easily.

this is true, some armies might have a better army list than others, but mainly they are balanced and with a skilled player can be equal. I like IG because of the background stories, them fighting for their lives on suck-ass planets with nothing but a commander's orders, a will to survive and their standard issue flashlights.
You don't see marines in this situation, now do you?
